Paul Jones

Paul Jones is an accomplished Senior News Producer with extensive experience in Canadian broadcasting. Currently at CBC News Network since November 2011, Paul oversees writing and on-screen content for the morning show, ensuring accuracy and clarity in news delivery. Prior to this role, Paul served as Senior News Producer at CTV Television Network for two decades, where oversight of morning programming and coordination of news coverage were key responsibilities. Paul began the career as a Producer, Reporter, and Lineup Editor at CBC Television from 1989 to 1991, producing in-depth investigative stories, and earlier worked at ATV News as a Reporter/Camera Operator/Editor, where significant news events were covered. Paul holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Diploma in Television Broadcasting from Loyalist College.
