Simon Rice

Simon Rice has amassed extensive experience in the media and arts sectors. Currently a Producer Writer at The National since April 2011, Simon also served as Acting Executive Producer at CBC Windsor for a brief period in 2020. A past contributor to CBC Windsor News Live at 6, Simon's background includes roles as a Producer, Writer, and Researcher for various projects leading up to the 2011 election. Additionally, Simon has held positions such as a Board Member at the Windsor Endowment for the Arts and a Sessional Instructor at the University of Windsor, where Simon taught a course on performance for camera. Simon's earlier career includes serving as Artistic Director at Praxis Theatre and managing The Revue Cinema. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Journalism from Humber College, a Diploma in Theatre Performance from Humber College, and studies in English and History at Concordia University.
