Sylvie MacLean

Sylvie MacLean is an experienced professional with a diverse background in communications and event coordination. Currently serving as an Application Support Specialist and previously as a Communications Officer at CBC since February 2016, Sylvie has extensive experience in the media industry, having held various roles within CBC from 1996 to 2013, including Communications Assistant and Special Events Admin Specialist. Prior to CBC, Sylvie coordinated events at the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA and worked as a Child Care Worker at the Children's Aid Society of Ottawa-Carleton. Sylvie's early career included positions as a Festival Assistant with the City of North Bay and an Assistant at the John Rodriguez MP Constituency Office. Sylvie holds an Honours degree in Political Science and a Bachelor degree in Leisure Studies from the University of Ottawa.
