Tamara Baluja

Tamara Baluja is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in journalism and education. Currently, Tamara serves as an Instructor at the University of King's College and as a First Person Producer for CBC, where responsibilities include commissioning and editing personal narratives for CBC News. Previously, Tamara held roles at CBC British Columbia, where duties involved overseeing the opinion section and producing digital content. Academic involvement includes a position as an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia and a fellowship focused on social media journalism. Tamara has contributed to prominent outlets such as J-Source.ca, The Globe and Mail, and the Toronto Star, alongside completing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction and a Bachelor of Arts in English and History.
