Thomas Cramer is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in production and editing. Currently serving as a Production Editor, Video Editor, and Lead Moderator for the CBC Idea Accelerator since September 2013, Cramer has a strong background in fostering dialogue between documentary filmmakers and audiences as the founder of Doc Connect from 2012 to 2014. Additional experience includes production coordination at Bridge Translations™, videography for Massey Bros Films, cinematography for independent filmmaker Lara Tai, and various roles in sound mixing and editing. Cramer holds a Master of Arts in Media Production from Ryerson University and a Master of Science in Physics from Leipzig University, complemented by participation in a Graduate Academic Exchange Program at the University of Sussex.
