Tom Harrington

Tom Harrington is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in broadcasting, currently serving as the host for CBC National Radio News since September 2010. Tom co-hosts and reports for CBC's flagship investigative journalism magazine and also holds the position of host for The World This Hour on CBC National Radio News since September 2015. Prior roles include national reporter and sportscaster for CBC Television from November 2004 to June 2010, as well as anchor and host for national sports programs at CBC Newsworld from September 1995 to September 2004. Tom began his career as a reporter at CBC Calgary from 1981 to 1983. Tom's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Master of Arts in Journalism from Western Ontario.
