William Wang

William Wang is an experienced media professional currently serving as an Associate Producer at CBC since November 2016, where responsibilities include editing and producing video content for social media and web platforms. Wang has received two RTDNA awards for Excellence in Video and for Feature News. Prior to this role, Wang worked as a Videographer at Venture Communications in 2016 and served as a freelance journalist and videographer for various prominent outlets including The Atlantic, Al Jazeera, and Toronto Star from 2013 to 2016. Wang's earlier career includes a Journalist position at China Radio International, where content creation for web and video was a primary focus, as well as experience as an educator at Sinobright School and a Broker at Beland Organic Foods. Wang holds a Bachelor of Education in English and Social Studies from Acadia University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Creative Writing from The University of British Columbia.
