Avery Brooks

Avery Brooks is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in brand strategy and development across various sectors. Currently serving as the Director in the Office of the Chief Marketing Officer at CBIZ since August 2021, Avery has also held roles including Regional Marketing Director and Marketing Leader at CBIZ Marks Paneth. Prior experience includes working as a Marketing Consultant for Taxfyle, where a strategic marketing roadmap was developed for a dual-marketplace platform, and as Brand Manager for Hatteras Yachts, overseeing global brand strategy for a luxury yacht manufacturer. Previous positions also include Marketing Manager and Coordinator at Prometheus Group, where data-driven marketing strategies drove significant growth, as well as Advertising Account Manager at Curtis Media Group. Avery began a career in nonprofit marketing as a Campaign Coordinator for the Charles House Association. Avery holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Advertising from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media.
