Janet Thompson

Janet Thompson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at CBIZ since December 2015, Janet previously held the title of Principal at CBIZ Cottonwood for a brief period in the same month. Janet's career includes a significant tenure as President of The Cottonwood Group from 2006 to 2015, and Managing Partner at Palmer & Cay from 2000 to 2006. Earlier roles include Consultant positions at DeFrain Mayer from 1989 to 2000 and Alexander & Alexander, Inc. from 1986 to 1989. Janet Thompson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Welfare from the University of Minnesota between 1976 and 1978.
