Lisa Bernet

Lisa Bernet, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and auditing, beginning with a role as a tax accountant at Kerber, Eck, and Braeckel from January 2012 to April 2012, where preparation and review of various tax returns were primary responsibilities. Lisa then served as an audit manager at Peters, Browning & Co. from October 2012 to July 2019, specializing in services for a diverse clientele including non-profits and financial institutions. Following this, Lisa held the position of Senior Manager at Somerset CPAs and Advisors until February 2023, when the firm was acquired by CBIZ, where Lisa currently works in the assurance/attest team, focusing on construction industry clients and overhead rate audits per FAR part 31. Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
