Rick Harshman has a diverse work experience in the retirement planning industry. Rick has held executive roles at CBIZ, where they specialized in plan design, compliance, mergers & acquisitions, and investment advisory services. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President & Director of Retirement Plan Services at QUADS, overseeing the processing of over 45,000 retirement plan accounts. Rick started their career as a Retirement Plan Administrator at Qualified Benefit Services and worked as a Special Agent at Prudential Financial.
Rick Harshman attended Middletown High School from 1979 to 1983, obtaining no degree or field of study. Rick then attended the University of Delaware from 1983 to 1987, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Financial Management. In terms of additional certifications, Rick has obtained various qualifications such as the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) from the American Retirement Association in 2018, the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) from Fi360 in 2011, and several certifications related to securities, investment company representation, and insurance, obtained between 1987 and 2003 from institutions like FINRA and the State of Maryland.
