Fernando Nery

Fernando Nery is currently a Pyrometallurgical Plant Manager at CBMM, overseeing an Opex and Capex exceeding 1 billion reais per year. Previously, they held significant roles at Anglo American Brazil, including Metallurgical Engineer Sr and Coordinator in Operational Planning, where they managed teams and implemented continuous improvements. Fernando has a BSc in Metallurgical Engineering from the Federal University of Ouro Preto, an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral, and specialized training in Mining-Metallurgical Systems. Their international experience includes working as a Process Engineer in South Africa and completing academic mobilities in Materials Engineering.
