Garrett Smith

Garrett Smith, MBA, is a seasoned data analytics professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Senior Data Analytics Specialist at Cboe Global Markets since September 2022, Garrett focuses on supporting the Internal Audit department through data analytics to enhance process automation and testing accuracy. Prior roles include Business Intelligence Analyst II and Business Intelligence Database Analyst at North Kansas City Hospital, where Garrett led process improvement projects, trained new team members, and implemented data quality auditing processes. Prior experience also includes a Data Analyst position at Cerner Corporation, where Garrett created visualizations and financial models for health systems, as well as internships at Flint Hills Resources and Westar Energy. Garrett holds a Master of Business Administration in Business Analytics from UMKC Henry W. Bloch School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Kansas State University.
