Matt Burrows

Matt Burrows has a diverse work experience spanning multiple prestigious organizations. Matt currently works at Cboe Global Markets as a Principal Software Engineer, where they specialize in real-time C++ and has in-depth knowledge of Equity and Derivatives trading systems. In their previous role as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company, they played a key role in developing various trading platforms and market mechanisms.

Prior to joining Cboe Global Markets, Matt worked at Lehman Brothers as a Senior Technical Lead of Algorithmic Trading Technology for seven years. Matt also served as a Consultant at Nomura International for five years and as a Developer at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson for one year. Matt'scareer began at DERA, where they worked as an Analyst for two years.

Matt Burrows attended the University of Birmingham from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a BSC Hons degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
