David Cotterill

David Cotterill has extensive work experience in various roles within the public and private sectors. David is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at cBrain since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Global Delivery at cBrain, where they successfully expanded the company's cloud offering to new markets, including the UK. David played a crucial role in helping public sector organizations reduce IT costs, improve services, and capitalize on SME innovation.

Before joining cBrain, David worked at the Cabinet Office as the Deputy Director - Strategic Change from June 2012 to April 2014. David also served as a Futures Analyst at the UK Government - Cabinet Office from February 2012 to May 2012.

David's career includes a Deputy Director - Innovation role at the Department for Work and Pensions, where they worked from April 2007 to May 2012. Prior to that, they worked as an Enterprise Architect at IBM from 2001 to 2007 and as a Project Manager at navision from 1999 to 2000.

David Cotterill attended the University of Cambridge from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Literature. In 2006, they also obtained the IBM Certified Enterprise Architect certification from IBM.
