Søren Tange

Søren Tange has extensive work experience in the field of software development and enterprise software. Søren began their career as a Software Engineer at Lumetech A/S, where they worked on designing, programming, and testing software for image processing and robot control. Søren also conducted onsite machinery installation and training.

In 1998, Tange joined Deltek and spent the next 19 years with Maconomy, an enterprise ERP system for professional services companies. Søren started as a developer and eventually became the Sr. Director, leading the entire engineering organization for the Maconomy product portfolio.

In 2017, Tange joined Configit as the Chief Product Officer, where they led the Product organization and was part of the Executive Leadership Team. Søren significantly improved the software development lifecycle processes, implementing a scalable agile set-up following SAFe practices.

Currently, Tange holds the position of Head of Delivery Management at cBrain, where they started in 2023.

Søren Tange holds an MSc degree in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, which they completed from 1986 to 1992. In 2014, they received Leadership Training from Deltek in Herndon, VA, USA, specializing in Leadership Engagement with Awesome People. Søren also completed Executive Leadership Training in Organizational Leadership from the Franklin Covey Institute from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, they have undertaken Leadership Development training in Organizational Leadership from Mannaz | Kurser, uddannelser og konsulentydelser in 2004, as well as an Introduction to Leadership course from the same institution in 2001. Søren Tange has also acquired a Project Management certification from Connector in 1999.
