Michael Sona

Michael Sona has extensive experience in facility management and operations, beginning with a career at the International Union of Operating Engineers from 1978 to 2002, where roles included Local 68 Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineer. From 2002 to 2006, Michael served as VP Mechanical Services at CSI International, Inc. and subsequently held key positions at Johnson Controls, including Senior Lead Operations Manager and Customer Business Manager, overseeing large teams and significant contracts for AT&T's Mission Critical Portfolio. Michael continued to excel in the field as Director of Operations at The Gale Company from 2006 to 2008, followed by a brief stint as Managing Director at CBRE in April 2022. Educational qualifications include an Apprenticeship in Stationary Engineering from IUOE Local 68 and various designations from BOMI, as well as a degree in Industrial Engineering from Trenton State College.
