Murphy Cheatham

Murphy D. Cheatham II is a seasoned professional in commercial real estate brokerage, talent development, and economic development, with over 20 years of experience. They began their career at The Modus Development Group, managing significant projects, and later served as a Development Advisory Services Consultant at HDR, overseeing over $300 million in mixed-use developments. As the youngest Chief of Housing and Business Development for the City of Shreveport, they led initiatives to revitalize underserved communities. Currently, Murphy serves as the Director at CBRE for Private Clients in The Americas, focusing on developing relationships with family offices and implementing diversity initiatives across the organization. An alumnus of Grambling State University and Arizona State University, Murphy is actively involved in creating educational opportunities for future real estate professionals.
