Shane Canavan has extensive experience in product management and engineering, with a focus on technology and analytics. At Immense, Shane progressed from a Senior Applications Engineer to Product Manager roles, overseeing technical developments and the deployment of embedded analytics. Prior to this, Shane was a Research Associate at the Railway and Transport Strategy Centre, analyzing data for performance benchmarking of mass transit systems. Additional experience includes a role as Project Engineer at Roughton International Ltd. Shane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, a Master’s degree in Transport and Business Management, and a PhD in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London. Currently, Shane serves as Director and Group Product Manager at CBRE, driving AI and analytics strategy across the UK and Ireland.
