Tom Burns has over 15 years of experience in the finance and real estate sectors. Tom began a career at Transwestern as a Senior Associate from August 2005 to June 2009. Following this role, Tom held various prominent positions, including Managing Director at Deutsche Bank from July 2010 to December 2019 and Principal at Square Mile Capital Management LLC from February 2019 to March 2023. Currently, Tom serves as Vice Chairman of Debt and Structured Finance at CBRE, starting in July 2025. In March 2023, Tom transitioned to the role of Managing Director at Affinius Capital. Tom holds a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University and has completed dual Master's programs in Real Estate at Columbia University, focusing on both Real Estate and the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation.
