Bas Tiemstra

Bas Tiemstra has a diverse work experience starting in 1999 as the Owner of Tiem Liner Logistic Services. Bas then worked as a Marketing & Program Manager at Amsterdam School of Real Estate from 2000 to 2002. After that, they joined Syntrus Achmea Real Estate as both an Asset Manager and a Portfolio Manager from 2002 to 2007. Bas then worked as a Director at PRN Real Estate Development from 2007 to 2009. From 2009 to 2015, they took on the role of Managing Director Commercial Real Estate at ASR Real Estate Investment Management. Bas Tiemstra is currently working at CBRE Investment Management since 2015, holding various positions such as Head of Asset Management Retail EMEA, EMEA Head of Investment Operations, Head of Separate Accounts Continental Europe & APAC Inbound, and currently as the Head of Separate Accounts EMEA.

Bas Tiemstra obtained a Master's degree in Business Economics & Real Estate from the University of Amsterdam between 1995 and 2000. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Real Estate (MRE) at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate, University of Amsterdam from 2004 to 2006. Finally, in 2010 and 2011, Bas attended RICS, where they earned their MRICS degree in Commercial Real Estate.
