Cathy Lai

Cathy Lai has a diverse work experience in the financial and real estate industries. Cathy began their career as an intern at Mizuho in 2011. After that, they worked as an Operations Executive at Pegasus Fund Managers Limited from 2013 to 2016. Cathy then joined Kowa Estate as a Sales and Operations Senior Executive through a working holiday program from 2016 to 2017. Following that, they worked as a Property Management Analyst at Housing Japan from 2017 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Global Portfolio Analyst at CBRE Investment Management since 2020.

Cathy Lai has a Bachelor's degree in Japanese Studies and Finance from The University of Hong Kong. Cathy attended the university from 2009 to 2013. In 2012, they also studied Japanese Studies at Kyoto University for a brief period. In terms of certifications, Cathy obtained the TOEIC certification with a total score of 940 in October 2017. Cathy also achieved the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 Level in July 2016. Furthermore, they obtained the certification of "The 3rd-grade Certified Skilled Professional of Financial Planning" from the Japan Association for Financial Planners, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are unknown.
