Michelle Ma has a diverse work experience in various financial roles. Michelle began their career as a Financial Analyst at Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited in 2018. Michelle then worked as an Analyst at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) in 2019, focusing on Financial Standards and Information. Later that year, they joined BMO Financial Group as a Product Analyst. In 2020, Michelle worked at TD as an Analyst in the US Risk Model Development team. Michelle also had a brief stint at OPTrust as an Investment Analyst in the Portfolio Construction Group. Currently, Michelle is working as an Investment Analyst in the Private Infrastructure division at CBRE Investment Management, starting in 2023.

Michelle Ma completed their Master's degree in Financial Economics at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics - Financial Analysis and Risk Management with a minor in Statistics from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 2016 to 2021. Michelle'ssecondary education took place at Lisgar Collegiate Institute in 2015 and 2016, but the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
