Peter Bretveld

Peter Bretveld has a diverse work experience in the real estate industry. Peter is currently working as a Senior Director - Client Solutions at CBRE Investment Management since February 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Portfolio Manager Real Estate at Kempen Capital Management from September 2018 to December 2022. Peter also worked at Blue Sky Group as a Senior Fund Manager Global Real Estate from June 2012 to August 2018, where they had shared responsibility for fund and investment management for a EUR 2.5b AuM Global Real Estate portfolio. Peter was also the team lead for the APAC Portfolio and served as an advisory board member for several funds. Before that, Peter worked at CBRE Global Investors as a Transaction & Assistant Portfolio Manager from September 2007 to June 2012. Peter started their career as an Investment Analyst at ING Real Estate Investment Management from May 2005 to August 2007. Additionally, they had entrepreneurial experience as an IT Consultant and Entrepreneur at Superb Automatisering from May 2003 to May 2005. Prior to that, Peter had roles as an Investment/Portfolio Analyst and an Assistant Technical Manager at Wooninc. from June 1998 to April 2005.

Peter Bretveld began their education at Eckart College, where they completed their HAVO degree from 1991 to 1996. Peter then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Engineering at Avans University of Applied Sciences from 1996 to 2001. Continuing their education, Peter attended Eindhoven University of Technology from 2002 to 2005, completing a Master's degree in Real Estate. Later, they enrolled at the University of Amsterdam from 2007 to 2010 and earned a Master of Science degree in Asset Management. In 2023, Peter briefly attended the Foundation for Natural Leadership to study Natural Leadership, though it is unclear if they obtained a degree in that field.
