Rob Shaw

Rob Shaw began their work experience as a Summer Law Student and Student at Law at Torys LLP in 2011. Rob then worked as an Associate in the Corporate and Capital Markets division at Torys LLP from September 2014 until April 2018. After leaving Torys LLP, Rob joined CBRE Investment Management as the Senior Director, Legal. In this role, they led the legal and compliance department at CBRE Caledon and was responsible for advising on legal and tax structuring, fund formation and operation, and corporate legal and compliance functions. Finally, Rob became the Senior Director on CBRE Investment Management's direct private infrastructure investing team before being promoted to Managing Director in February 2022. Rob is currently responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing direct infrastructure investments at CBRE Investment Management.

Rob Shaw has a diverse education history. Rob obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University from 2009 to 2013. During the same period, they also attended York University's Osgoode Hall Law School, where they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Prior to this, from 2004 to 2008, Shaw completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History at Queen's University. Rob began their educational journey at Crescent School from 1996 to 2004.
