Simon Karlsson

Simon Karlsson, CFA is currently working as a Senior Analyst for CBRE Investment Management, where they lead the research coverage for the Listed Real Asset team in Australian property and Asia-Pacific infrastructure. Prior to their current role, Simon was a Portfolio Manager at Alceon - Investments, Capital, Advisory, specializing in Australian listed property and infrastructure sectors. Simon also served as an Assistant Portfolio Manager and Equity Analyst at Perennial Partners and a Senior Associate at Macquarie Group. Simon began their career as an intern at the United Nations Development Fund for Women and the Australian Institute of International Affairs.

Simon Karlsson, CFA has completed several educational programs throughout their academic career. Simon participated in the Value Investing Program at Columbia Business School. Simon also completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program through the CFA Institute. Prior to this, they attained a B Business degree and a BA in International Studies from the University of Technology Sydney. Additionally, Simon was enrolled in the 12-month Global Exchange program at Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University. Simon also participated in the Scholarship Program at Saint Petersburg State University. Simon's secondary education took place at North Sydney Boys High School.
