Richard Paz

Richard Paz is an experienced professional in the swine industry, currently serving as Herd Manager at CBSET since July 2022. Previously, Richard held positions as Breeding Lead at Country View Family Farms and Regional Trainer at Pipestone System/Pipestone Veterinary Services, where responsibilities included training employees on various farm procedures, biosecurity, and animal welfare. Richard also has extensive experience in personnel management and technical support in animal health products, having worked in roles such as Manager in Training at Profesional Independiente and Certified Veterinary Technician at Connecticut Veterinary Center. Richard holds a Master of Veterinary Science in Livestock Systems Health from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, and a specialization in Porcicultura from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Richard is a certified PQA Plus Advisor and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
