Bill Nosie

Network Engineer III at CBTS

Bill Nosie has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Bill started their career as a Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy from 1989 to 1993. Bill then transitioned to the private sector, working as a Software Quality Technician at Applied Systems from 1994 to 1997. Bill then joined Silliker as a Senior Network Engineer from 1997 to 2008.

In 2008, they joined Monsanto Company as a Network/Systems Engineer, where they led various projects and provided support for data centers, call centers, and production facilities. Bill stayed with Monsanto until 2016, and during their tenure, they played a key role in managing IT support, installations, and upgrades for multiple business sites.

From 2016 to 2019, Bill worked at Delta Dental of Michigan as a Senior Network Engineer. Bill was part of a team of five engineers and was responsible for redesigning the entire corporate network.

Currently, Bill is employed at CBTS as a Network Engineer III, specializing in network operations for large customers with complex design. Bill is a subject matter expert in firewalls and data center networking.

Throughout their career, Bill has gained expertise in network engineering, systems engineering, and IT support.

Bill Nosie has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Minnesota. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including CYBERFORCE: Sentry from Palo Alto Networks in June 2023, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer in December 2022, and Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator in January 2022. Bill also holds additional certifications such as ACE from Palo Alto Networks, ADP II from the United States Government, CCA from Citrix, CCNA from Cisco, CNA from Novell, MCP from Microsoft, and MCP SQL Server from Microsoft.
