Christopher Briggs

Christopher Briggs has over 25 years of work experience in the technology industry. Christopher started their career in 1995 as a Desktop Integrations specialist at XLSource/XLConnect. From 1996 to 2000, they worked as a UNIX Systems Engineer specializing in HPUX systems at Clopay Building Products. In 2000, they joined TEKsystems as a UNIX Systems Engineer, focusing on SUN Solaris and HP/UX. Christopher then joined CBTS in 2002, where they held multiple roles including Storage Administrator/Solutions Architect for CBTS @ GE TSG, Infrastructure and Application - Rationalization and Replatforming Consultant, and Solution Architect - Global Accounts. Christopher continues to work at CBTS as a Solution Architect.

Christopher Briggs attended the University of Cincinnati from 1991 to 1995, where they studied computer sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences. Christopher did not obtain a specific degree during this time. Additionally, they received technical certifications in compute, storage, and process from Technical Education and Formal Training.

In terms of additional certifications, Christopher obtained various technical and sales certifications from different institutions. In 2015, they received the Power8 Server Certified Technical and Sales certification from IBM. In 2019, they obtained the Power9 Server Technical and Sales certification, also from IBM. In 2012, they earned the IBM Midrange/Enterprise Storage Solutions - Sales/Technical Certified and Power7 for AIX/System i - Sales/Technical Certified certifications. Furthermore, in 2000, they obtained the HP/UX 10.20 Systems Administration certification from HP. Christopher also holds the IBM Enterprise FlashSystems - Technical Sales Certification and the VEEAM Technical Sales - Certification, both obtained in 2020. Lastly, they have a Netezza Technical and Sales Certified certification, although the specific date of obtaining it is unknown.
