Christopher Shallcross has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Christopher is currently working as a Project Manager at CBTS since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Systems Engineer - OSS Integration at Samsung Electronics America from April 2021 to September 2021. Christopher also worked as an Agricultural Mulcher Operator at Double Aught Land Management for a brief period in March 2021.
Christopher has a significant amount of experience at Verizon, where they held various roles over the years. From January 2018 to July 2019, they served as a Solutions Planning Architect, managing a portfolio of tools, applications, and services for the Verizon Wireless Network Management Centers. During this time, they earned their SAFe SPC certification and transitioned from a Product Owner role to a coaching role.
Prior to that, from October 2014 to January 2018, Christopher worked as a Network Support Systems Solutions Planner, where they managed a portfolio of applications, tools, and services and led solution and architectural planning for Wireless Management Centers. Christopher also took on the role of a Product Owner for Agile projects, resulting in significant benefits for the organization.
Before their role as a Solutions Planner, Christopher was involved in various roles at Verizon Wireless. From March 2013 to October 2014, they worked as an NSS Application Developer, supporting big data analytic applications and handling software and hardware deployments. From March 2005 to March 2013, they served as a Senior Tech Network Operations Support Services, leading software testing, troubleshooting, and deployment for switching and cell site operations. Christopher automated software deployments, reducing manual labor hours and enabling rapid deployment of new products.
Christopher also had early experiences at Verizon as a NOC Lead Technician from July 2003 to March 2005 and as a NOC Technician from July 2002 to July 2003.
Christopher Shallcross began their education at Tarleton State University in 1993, where they studied architecture. Christopher then transferred to Tarrant County College from 1994 to 1997, focusing on psychology. In addition to their formal education, Christopher has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they became a Certified Scrum Master and a Certified Scrum Product Owner through the Scrum Alliance. In 2018, they received the Certified Agile Leadership I certification from the Scrum Alliance and became an ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching through ICAgile. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Certified SAFe® 4 Program Consultant through Scaled Agile, Inc.
