Gary Scott has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Gary started their career at GE Aviation as an Analyst in Information Processing in 1985 and later became a Senior Unix Systems Administrator. In 1995, they moved to HP as a Senior Team Leader, managing a team of Unix system managers. At HP, they also served as a Senior Consulting Architect, leading major customer IT projects and providing leadership and support services to GE customers globally. In 2004, Gary returned to GE and held various roles including Senior Systems Engineer, Senior Team Leader in High Availability Engineering, and Principal Technologist in Compute, Storage & Data Protection Engineering. Gary was then promoted to Senior Staff Product Manager, where they served as the product delivery owner for a $200MM compute infrastructure portfolio and install base. In 2017, Gary joined CBTS as the Director of Cloud Engineering and Architecture.
Gary Scott attended Cincinnati State Technical and Community College from 1983 to 1985. During this time, they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, successfully completing the program.
