Jim Steck has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jim started their career at GID in 1999 as a Systems Technician. At Gap, they worked as a Systems Engineer and Systems Analyst, responsible for designing, securing, deploying, administering, and consolidating UNIX servers. In 2006, they joined IBM as a Systems Engineer, where they focused on UNIX administration. Jim then transitioned to Dell as a Senior Systems Engineer, working on design, security, deployment, administration, consolidation, and decommissioning of UNIX/Linux servers. At Accenture, they served as an Infrastructure Tech Support Specialist, supporting various clients and automating tasks through scripting. Jim continued their career at FIS as a Senior Technology Engineer, specializing in IT patching and automation. As a Senior System Engineer at M3COM, Jim provided infrastructure and customer support for a multi-tenant Cloud Provider. Currently, they hold the position of a Solution Architect II at CBTS.

Jim Steck's education history includes attending DeVry University where they studied Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Jim also attended Columbus State Community College, focusing on Mathematics and Chemistry.
