Kevin Johnston

Kevin Johnston began their work experience in 2013 as a Social Studies Teacher at Carpe Diem Aiken. Kevin then moved on to Hamilton City School District in 2014, where they continued to work as a Social Studies Teacher. In 2016, Kevin joined Cincinnati Bell as a Premise Technician. In 2018, they transitioned to CBTS as a Communication Service Transition Engineer. Kevin later became a Team Lead - Business Market Operations at CBTS in 2019, where they worked until 2022. Currently, Kevin holds the position of Sales Engineer at CBTS, starting in February 2022.

Kevin Johnston obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology and Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs from Miami University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Kevin then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Anthropology at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 2009 to 2010. Continuing their education at the same institution, they obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Education from 2011 to 2012.

Kevin Johnston has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include Collaboration SaaS from Cisco (obtained in June 2022), Juniper Networks Certified Associate - MistAI from Juniper Networks (obtained in February 2022), Microsoft 365 Fundamentals from Microsoft (obtained in January 2022), Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft (obtained in July 2021), Harmony Sales Specialist, Technical Specialist - CloudGuard Pre-Sale, Technical Specialist - Harmony Pre-Sale, and Cloudguard Sales Specialist from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. (all obtained in 2021). Prior to these certifications, they obtained an MMBA: miniMBA from Miami University in December 2020.

Furthermore, Kevin Johnston has acquired various technical certifications. These include CMNA and CMNO from Cisco Meraki (obtained in August 2019 and July 2018, respectively), CCENT from Cisco (obtained in April 2018), Network+ from CompTIA (obtained in May 2017), and CCNA from Cisco (obtained in March 2019).
