Kevin Wright

Kevin Wright has an extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Kevin started their career at Northern Kentucky University in 1987 as a Supervisor-Physical Plant, managing construction projects and supporting assistant supervisors for grounds maintenance. In 1995, they joined Cincinnati Bell Telephone as a Network Technician, responsible for provisioning and maintaining optical and digital carrier systems. Kevin later became an SLC/DLC/Optical Network Technician, operating access and transport network elements. In 2003, Kevin joined Cincinnati Bell Wireless as an Operations Team Lead, overseeing wireless telecommunications projects in multiple states. In 2018, they joined CBTS and Cincinnati Bell Technology Solutions as an Operations Manager, and then took on the role of Distributed Antenna Systems Operations Manager. Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in managing complex projects and teams.

Kevin Wright earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from the University of Kentucky, which they attended from 1987 to 1990. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications over the years. In 1996, they completed a certification in Principles of Digital Technology from Bellcore TEC. Kevin then obtained a certification in FACTR Operation and Maintenance from Fujitsu Network Communications in January 1997. Moving forward, they achieved a certification in WCDMA Remote Base Station Commissioning and Operation from Ericsson Inc in April 2008. Subsequently, in May 2010, they obtained a certification in Anritsu Test and Measurement from Anritsu, followed by a certification in Optical and Hybrid Distributed Antenna System Design and Commissioning from Mobile Access in August 2010. Furthermore, in September 2012, they completed a certification in Comscope Coaxial Cable and Connectors from CommScope. Their education journey continued with a certification in Fiber Splicing from Cincinnati Bell in April 2016, and most recently, they obtained two certifications from LinkedIn: Managing Experienced Managers in June 2020 and Learning Design Thinking: Lead Change in Your Organization in July 2020.
