Michael Hultquist

Michael Hultquist has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the IT industry. Michael is currently working as a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer at CBTS, where they started in March 2023. Prior to this, Michael worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Cloud Infrastructure Architect from September 2021 to February 2023. Before AWS, they held multiple roles at Ellucian, including Cloud Engineering Tech Lead from March 2019 to September 2021, Interim Senior Manager: Cloud Operations from September 2019 to December 2019, and Senior Cloud Engineer from July 2017 to March 2019. Michael also gained experience at Cape Cod Healthcare as a PACS Administrator from April 2016 to July 2017 and as a Senior System Engineer from July 2011 to July 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked at Lighthouse Networks as a Senior Systems Engineer / Manager of Technical Operations from September 2008 to July 2011. Lastly, Michael started their IT career at Computer Renaissance as the Head Service Technician / Store Manager from August 2002 to June 2008, where they were responsible for inventory management, employee scheduling, technical service, and sales.

Michael Hultquist has a diverse education history with a focus on information technology. Michael obtained a Masters of Information Technology in Data Systems from Southern New Hampshire University, completing the program from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the same institution, attending from 2015 to 2019.

In 2012, Michael earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science (Security) from the University of Illinois System.

In terms of certifications, they have obtained several credentials. These include the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate from ACloudGuru in 2017. Additionally, Michael holds multiple certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), such as the AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Partner: SAP on AWS (Business), and Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate, all achieved in 2022.

Michael also possesses certifications in various aspects of medical imaging software, including iSite PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) from Philips, which they completed in 2016. Moreover, Michael has acquired Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist for Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure, Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Server Administrator on Windows Server, and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist for Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure. Additionally, they hold a MAC OS X Certification from Apple, which they earned in 2010.
