Steve Barton

Steve Barton has over 20 years of experience in the field of storage and data protection solution architecture. Steve has worked for multiple companies in various roles, including Solution Architect, Sr. Storage Engineer, and Storage and Data Recovery Engineer. During their tenure at CBTS, Steve provided consultative pre-sales solution architecture for Fortune500 to Midmarket Select industries. Steve also managed enterprise fabric technology and various storage subsystems at Great American Insurance. At Ohio Casualty Group, they managed backups and restores via TSM and supported distributed systems. Prior to that, Steve worked as a Backup & Recovery Administrator at CNT Consulting, where they provided consultation and expertise in data center backup and recovery.

Steve Barton obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology with a focus on Computer Science from Northern Kentucky University from 2003 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they pursued certifications in various technology areas. In 2019, Steve obtained the "Specialist Technology Architect Midrange Solutions" certification from Dell EMC and the "Cisco NetApp FlexPod Implementation and Administration Specialist" certification from NetApp. In 2018, they achieved the "HPE Master ASE" certification from Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
