Tiger Lu began their work experience in 2005 as a Senior Java Developer and Technical Lead at Terrasoft Ltd. Tiger then moved on to CGI in 2008 where they worked as a Systems Analyst, responsible for application maintenance and developing enhancements for applications used by Alberta Health and Wellness. In 2012, Tiger joined Fujitsu Canada as a Senior Java Developer and played a core role in the Application Maintenance Services team. Tiger also served as the technical lead for the development of a fertilizer recommendation application. In 2018, Tiger worked as a Staff Software Engineer at both OnX Enterprise Solutions and CBTS, where they specialized in building customer-facing applications, enterprise APIs, and internal applications for a global financial client. At CBTS, they transformed an outdated Loyalty Rewards program into an API-enabled technology stack using React and Eclipse Vert.
Tiger Lu holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Southeast University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2002, they received a certification in Developing Applications using J2EE Technologies from BEA Systems. In 2010, they obtained the ITIL v3 Foundation certification from Loyalist Exam Services. In 2014, they became a SpringSource Certified Spring Professional. Furthermore, in 2016, they achieved the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance. Most recently, in February 2021, they acquired a certification in Building APIs with Swagger and the OpenAPI Specification from LinkedIn.
