Edna Flores

Edna Flores is a highly qualified medical oncologist currently affiliated with cCARE - California Cancer Associates for Research & Excellence since October 2015. Prior to this role, Edna served as Medical Director at The Cancer Institute At Pioneers Hospital from September 2014 to October 2015. Edna completed a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Scripps Green Hospital from June 2011 to June 2014, focusing on advanced training in hematologic and malignant disorders. Earlier experience includes working as a hospitalist with MD On Call from July 2010 to June 2011 and serving as Co-Chief Resident at Texas Health Resources from June 2009 to June 2010, where responsibilities included scheduling and organizing various educational conferences. Edna earned a Doctorate in Medicine from UT Health San Antonio (2003 - 2007) and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish from Northwestern University (1998 - 2002).
