Van Hoang has a diverse range of work experience starting from 1994 to present. Van began as a Software Engineer at Logicon, where they designed and implemented an Air Vehicle Planning System. Van also wrote API code and ported code from IBM Mainframe to SunOs. From 1996 to 2000, they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Continuus Software, where they designed and developed WebSynergy, a web application for change management. Van also developed a distributed Make tool for multi platforms. From 2000 to 2009, they were a Principal Java/Web Developer at Downey Savings, where they engaged with clients to gather and write business and technical requirements and implemented J2EE based applications. Since 2009, they have been working at CCC Information Services, first as a Sr. Software Engineer, creating flexible rule templates and providing rule migration strategies, and currently as a Lead Software Engineer, analyzing existing rule templates and designing and implementing an infrastructure to support over 200,000 rules. Van Hoang is highly skilled in technical areas, has strong analytical skills, and is extremely detail-oriented with a proven record of successful projects and tasks.
Van Hoang attended UC Irvine from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
