Shelley Handler

Shelley Handler is an experienced freelance food journalist and culinary instructor with a diverse background in the food industry. Since February 2003, Shelley has operated as a freelance food journalist and has provided virtual cooking classes for corporate team building and private clients since March 2020. From 1999 to 2014, Shelley was a member of the San Francisco Chronicle's Taster's Choice panel, conducting blind tastings and critiques of food products. Additionally, Shelley has been a consultant with CCD Innovation since 1994, creating new product concepts for Fortune 100 global food corporations. An accomplished culinary instructor, Shelley has developed and taught various cooking classes in the Bay Area and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from California State University, Northridge, along with a culinary degree from the California Culinary Academy, where Shelley graduated with honors.
