Ian Cockerill

Ian Cockerill possesses extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Head of Exploration at CCED since July 2023. Prior roles include General Manager of Exploration & Subsurface WA & New Ventures at Beach Energy Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed management of exploration and subsurface business for WA assets. Cockerill has also held leadership positions at RISC as Head of Geoscience, Managing Director at Verona Energy Group, and in various capacities with Apache Corporation and Hunt Oil Company. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Basin Evolution and Dynamics from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a BSc in Geology from the University of Leeds.
