Brian M. Wright is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive leadership experience, currently serving as Vice President of the Connecticut Chapter of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives since January 2025 and as a member of the Board of Directors for OIC of New London County, Inc. since October 2024. Wright is also an Adjunct Senior Instructor at the National De-escalation Training Center Region 7 (University of New Haven) and an Executive Committee Member of the NAACP New London CT Chapter. Additionally, Wright holds the position of CT Accreditation Assessor for the Connecticut Police Officers Standard and Training Council and is a Certified Connecticut Municipal Official. Past roles include Chief of Police and various positions within the City of New London Police Department. Wright's educational background includes attending the FBI National Academy and earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.
