David Flores

David Flores is an experienced public health professional currently serving as a Regional Coordinator at the CDC Foundation, overseeing a team of 110 staff members to ensure effective coordination with the CDC and local health departments. Prior to this role, David worked as a Senior Health Educator at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, leading health education initiatives for K-12 schools and managing outbreak investigation efforts. Additional experience includes roles as a Program Coordinator for LACER Afterschool Programs, Project Program Coordinator for Los Angeles Walks, Health Educator for the American Diabetes Association, and as a Certified Personal Trainer. David holds a Master of Public Health from California State University, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Northridge.
