Sean Mann

Public Health Informatician

Sean Mann serves as a Public Health Informatician at the CDC Foundation since June 2023. Prior to this role, Sean held the position of Sr. Technical Business Analyst at the Public Health Informatics Institute from January 2022 to June 2023 and worked as an IT Product Manager at Emory University from November 2017 to January 2022. Sean’s career at Emory University also included the role of Educational Analyst/Database Manager, focusing on managing Graduate Medical Education data for over 100 programs and 1,200 residents and fellows. Earlier experiences include serving as Graduate Program Coordinator at the Department of Economics at Emory University and as Sr. Program Services Manager at Special Olympics Georgia. An educator at Alcovy High School, Sean began a career in education as an Economics Teacher from July 2006 to June 2007. Sean holds a Master of Public Health in Public Health Informatics from Emory University, a Master of Education in Educational/Instructional Technology from Georgia Southern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of West Georgia.
