Amber Scott currently serves as an ORISE Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where responsibilities include supporting the Evaluation and Program Effectiveness Team in applied research and evaluation activities for the Division of Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention. Prior experience includes working as a Junior Chemist at Oxygen Development, focusing on the formulation and development of color cosmetics and managing lab activities. Additionally, Amber has interned with the Womens Foundation of Florida, where collaboration with community partners enhanced outreach programs for women leaders, and served as a Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo, contributing to a summer research program. Amber holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Rutgers University, complemented by a short-term experience at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
