Anand Date is currently the Global Lead for Tuberculosis Elimination at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where they drive impactful global health solutions to save lives. Anand has held significant positions at the CDC, including Chief of Global TB and Associate Chief of Global TB, and previously served as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer. In addition, they were the Chair of the Union HIV section at the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease from 2013 to 2015 and worked as a Medical Consultant for the World Health Organization from 2000 to 2004.
