Angus Wu

Angus Wu is a data scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention within the Division of Tuberculosis Elimination, starting in December 2023. Previously, Angus served as a COVID-19 Data and Analytics Intern at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services from September 2020 to May 2021. Angus has also held positions as an Ai & Data Science Summer Intern at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency in June 2022, a Bioinformatics Summer Intern at the FDA in summer 2021, and a Student Research Assistant at Caltech from September 2017 to June 2019. Additionally, Angus was the Assistant Commissioner for the Student Wellness Commission at UCLA from May 2022 to May 2023 and worked as a Lead Resident Assistant in the Office of Residential Life at UCLA from September 2021 to June 2023. Angus holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA, completed in 2023.
