Ann Johnston Cloud

Ann Johnston Cloud currently serves as the Associate Director of Science at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since January 2025. Previously, Ann held the position of Associate at Abt Global, where Ann was the Project Director for a significant CDC initiative aimed at reducing disparities in prenatal alcohol and substance exposure among pregnant individuals in underserved populations. Ann's extensive experience also includes a role as Project Director at Columbia University, overseeing major cohort studies such as the Breast Cancer Family Registry and the LEGACY Girls Study, while managing compliance, protocol development, and collaboration with various research sites. Ann's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Emory University.
