Anna Khan

Associate Director for Communication

Anna Khan is a world-renowned leader in environmental health and public health emergency management with over 15 years of leadership experience. Currently serving as the Associate Director for Communication at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Anna leads critical programs in areas such as Radiation, Chemical Weapons Demilitarization, and Climate and Health. Recently appointed as President of the Board of Directors for the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), Anna has made history as the first woman in uniform to achieve this position. With a Master's degree in Emergency and Disaster Management from American Military University, Anna is dedicated to improving public health infrastructure and risk communication globally.
