Beverly Walker

Beverly Walker serves as the Chief Privacy Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since March 2011, leveraging extensive experience in privacy and information management. Previously, Beverly held the position of Manager FOIA/PA at USDA-FSIS for a brief period and served as the Privacy Officer for the Bureau of Land Management. Beverly's career also includes a role as Division Chief at the U.S. Department of Labor and Analyst positions at Amtrak, where responsibilities spanned the Office of General Counsel and the Office of Inspector General. Educational qualifications include a Master of Library & Information Science from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Furman University. Additionally, further legal education was pursued at the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law.
